Frequently Asked Questions:


Payment of Fines:

Fines can be paid at the police department Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Fines can be mailed to the police department or placed in the after hours drop box located on the front of the building.  We accept cash, check or money order.

Gunlocks:

The Combined Locks Police Department participates in Project Child Safe.  Free gunlocks can be picked up at the police department Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

Neighborhood Watch:

Officer Ed Slinde is in charge of this partnership between the police department and the residents of Combined Locks.  If you have any questions on Neighborhood Watch or to start a chapter in your neighborhood please contact Officer Slinde at 920-731-6321 or by e-mail at slinde764@combinedlocks.org 

Vacation Checks:

The police department will check your house free of charge while you are out of town.  You can print the vacation check form from our forms page or you can stop at the police department.  When you return home please call us. 

Clerk of Courts:

Our Clerk of Courts is Deb Casper.  Deb can be reached by telephone at 920-788-7746.  Please leave an evening phone number where Deb can reach you.  The Clerk of Court's office hours vary per week. 

Copies of Reports:

Request for reports can be made from our forms page.  Please print and complete the open records request and return it to the police department.  Requests can also be made in person Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. 

Incident Reports cost a minimum of $2.00.  After eight (8) pages the charge is .25 cents per page.  There may be additional fees for large reports. 

Accident Reports are $2.00 if picked up at the police department.  $3.00 if mailed or faxed.  Additional fees may apply. 

Requesting Pictures:

Requests for pictures are made to Lieutenant Scott Lund.  A form requesting pictures is required.  This form is on or forms page (Image Request) or faxed to you.  The completed form must be returned to Lieutenant Lund before the pictures are printed. 

Pictures cost $1.00 per picture for a 4x6 print.  Larger size pictures cost an additional fee.  Pictures must be paid for before they are printed.  Any questions please call Lieutenant Scott Lund at 920-731-6321 or e-mail him at lundsc@combinedlocks.org

Ride Along:

The Combined Locks Police Department will honor ride along requests from individuals having a legitimate interest in personally observing police operations. 

Individuals wishing to participate must be 16 years of age, submit a written request to the Chief of Police, complete and sign a ride along request, release of liability and rules and conduct forms. 

A background check will be completed on applicants.  The Chief of Police must approve all applicants.  The ride along will be for 4 hours unless otherwise approved by the Chief of Police.   

Old Ammunition:

If you have old ammunition please call 920-731-6321 and make an appointment.  You will be asked to describe the type, size, condition and quantity of ammunition you want to dispose.  PLEASE DO NOT BRING THE AMMUNITION TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
